Hello there, my name is Ridzwan.
People call me Zwan, Wan, Zwanners, Ridz, Rizzo, Johnny Depp or Jude Law. I was born in sunny (albeit sticky) Singapore; which contrary to popular belief, isn't located somewhere in China.
I tend to buy tons of stationery which I may or may not use eventually. Numbers aren't my thing, I find it hard counting my change properly. I love cats because somehow they reflect my personality—curious and laid back. I love rainy weather too, because it (usually) means I can sleep in.
During my spare time I enjoy taking long train rides and staring at pretty girls when they're not looking. I also enjoy stimulating conversation, although not over coffee; because I don't like coffee, I like tea. It's not a matter of preference really, I'm just not fond of the sour aftertaste. On a side note, I often eat my burgers up-side down.
I've always had a passion for art and design and a healthy obsession with typography—I could stare at ampersands or the lower-case serif "fi" ligature all day. I studied Visual Communication at Temasek Polytechnic and graduated with a degree in Communication Design from RMIT University.
Currently, I work at the Singapore office of Landor Associates. I help build brands by creating verbal and visual languages across different media landscapes whilst staying appropriate to their identity, ensuring effective brand communication.
My ultimate aim in life is to own a Shelby Mustang. If that doesn't happen, a Ducati Hypermortard would suffice.
